Student Problem #3 Unit I Concept 1 Exponential Functions

  • What is this picture about?
This picture demonstrates a problem worked out when you graph exponential functions and identifying the x-intercepts and the y-intercepts. The picture also shows the domain, range, and extra points of the equation. It’s a problem worked out step by step by showing work.

  • What does the viewer need to pay special attention to in order to understand the concept?
The viewer needs to pay attention how the a, b, h, and k affect and contribute to finding the rest of the parts of the equation. They need to be aware of the signs and numbers of the equation and how they affect how the graph looks like.
