Student Problem #4 Unit I Concept 2 Logarithmic Functions

  • What is this problem about?
This problem demonstrates the steps on how to solve for a logarithmic function. It shows how an equation with log affects when solving the x-intercepts and y-intercepts.  It also demonstrates how natural log "ln" is used in solving for the equation and plotting the graph.

  • What must the reader pay close attention to in order not to make a mistake?
The reader needs to pay close attention to the answers that you get for the x-intercepts and the y-intercepts. in order to not make a mistake, when you plug in the equation into your graphing calculator go to the table and see if the points match the points you got, and avoid a mistake.
